AVI-SPL London Serves Europe Video Conferencing Market

Written by James Shanks, managing director EMEA, AVI-SPL

With our recent expansion into London, AVI-SPL reaffirms its commitment to serving the European market with video conferencing solutions that connect individuals and teams around the world. AVI-SPL has been supporting international customers from our U.S. base of operations for many years. Today, our Video Managed Services team  supports over 6,000 video endpoints in 104 countries around the world.

One of the keys to a successful global project is consistency. That consistency leads to ease of user experience, which in turn leads to satisfaction with our work. We ensure the video collaboration experience  looks and feels the same, no matter which office or building you visit — whether you are in London, Paris, New York, Tokyo, Munich, San Paolo or Moscow. Because we operate on a global scale,  AVI-SPL allows for such continuity through design, implementation, project management and delivery to a uniform standard.

The importance of a VNOC in the U.K.

Each AVI-SPL Video Network Operations Center (VNOC) is the control center of our Video Managed Services offering. In each VNOC, certified technicians are on hand 24/7, monitoring customer environments, scheduling and launching video calls, and helping customers effectively utilize their investment in video communications technology. We now have three VNOC locations: two in the U.S. (Ohio and Pennsylvania) and our newest one in the U.K.

The addition of the VNOC in the U.K. provides us with the ability to provide in-region support for European-based customers who prefer a provider who’s more familiar with the European culture.

The significance of this new U.K. VNOC is that we can leverage our location to have in-region coverage during the business day with multilingual support. The addition of the VNOC in the U.K. provides us with some added flexibility in addition to the ability to provide in-region support for European-based customers who prefer a provider who’s more familiar with the European culture. Another significant benefit of the new U.K.-based VNOC is that it offers the majority of the languages spoken in EMEA (German, French, Spanish and Portuguese) as part of the services.
