Earlier this year, we shared the story of a boy with a low immune system who was able to attend class via a VGo telepresence robot. Today, an article published by the online site for the Boston Globe tells of boy who had his post-surgery checkups handled through VGo.
Instead of having to drive her 2-year-old son back to the hospital for checkups, the boy’s parents were sent home with a VGo robot that allowed doctors to monitor the post-surgery scars and overall patient recovery.
