AVI-SPL’s Alyson Seeger has joined the Glazer Children’s Museum’s board of directors. As a board member, Seeger’s key objective will be to help raise awareness and funds for the privately funded 501 (c) 3 museum.
Based in Tampa, Seeger joined AVI-SPL’s systems engineering department in a sales capacity in 1989. Over the years she has held several management positions and currently leads a sales team of eight for the Tampa to Naples territory. On top of developing her sales team, she focuses involvement in the community.
“I am very honored to serve on Glazer Children’s Museum’s board,” said Seeger. “The facility is gorgeous and a dream come true for many board members who have served before me. These key contributors have worked diligently for 15 years to see this museum a reality.”
Al Najjar, President/CEO, Glazer Children’s Museum: “We are pleased to have Alyson on our board and are certain that her vast experience will be a great asset to the direction and mission of the museum.”
Nestled in Downtown Tampa, Glazer Children’s Museum opened its doors to the public on September 25th, 2010, providing a safe and playful environment where children and adults can learn about themselves, each other, and the world around them through.
