For the recently opened George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum, AVI-SPL was one of many teams that came together to design and implement audio visual systems.
The September 2013 issue of Sound & Communications explores the AV solutions and how they enhance the experience for library guests. Part of that story includes the sound system installation, which AVI-SPL handled. Because the project touches on so many areas, certain aspects were, due to space, left out.
One of those aspects was our integration of Bosch sound systems, including discussion units (DCN-DISDCS-D), for conference areas and a Bosch Integrus Assistive Listening/Language Translation system. The DCN is an interpretation system that went into the auditorium and presidential seminar room. In each of those spaces are two interpretation booths. The Integrus system is in the same two areas, as well as the pre-function area.
