How Collaboration Technology Helped Teacher Flip His Classroom

Veteran teacher James Riley says he’ll never go back to the days before he flipped his classroom. A recent story in Corporate Tech Decisions explains why, as it looks at how Riley and Tampa Prep are benefiting from the latest interactive communication technology that makes the flipped classroom possible. AVI-SPL has implemented for Tampa Prep a variety of classroom tools, including

  • SMART Boards
  • Projectors
  • Displays with SMART touch-screen overlays
  • Wireless mic system

As noted in the Tech Decisions story, this project was a collaborative process between AVI-SPL and Tampa Prep:

Riley sat down with Tampa Prep’s technology director Chad Lewis and brought their ideas on technology to AVI-SPL’s offices, researching hardware and software ideas.

Contact AVI-SPL’s Tracie Bryant, VP of sales for state, local and education, at tracie.bryant@avispl.com or 972-679-9922 to start the process of bringing interactive AV into your educational institution.
