As expected, many of the company’s AVI-SPL relies on for its integrations made the list, including Epson, AMX, Cisco and Christie Digital. Winners also included Belden, which was named Favorite Cable/Connectivity Manufacturer, and Shure, whose MX Series got the nod as Favorite Microphone Product.

Last month, we shared the news that Shure was adding hands-free mics to its professional series of microphones. They’ve followed that by announcing another enhancement for collaborative meeting spaces: the addition of flush-mount discussion units to its DDS 5900 Digital Discussion System.
This means system integrators like AVI-SPL have yet another option for audio when we design and implement meeting rooms for our clients. The DC 5900 F features:
- Flush-mount design
- Configurable to the requirements of the installation
- First on the market to use optical sensing to configure the unit (as Chairman or Delegate)
