Tampa - Our Event Production team put the new PriceWaterhouseCoopers building in the spotlight. The corporate holiday party hosted a crowd of more than 1,800 PWC employees and their families outside the new facility.
In planning the event, the PWC team originally envisioned a daytime event, but when our Event Production team suggested a light and music show on the building facade, the event planning team decided to reschedule the party to early evening.
To light up the building, our team spent about eight hours programming the show, nine hours on set-up (over two days) and two hours to strike after the event.
Equipment used includes:
- 52- Hanson Wireless LED fixtures
- 48- Colorblast 12 TRX LED Fixtures
- 36-Colorblast 12 TR LED Fixtures
- 12- Clay Paky Sharpy fixtures
- 4- Impression LED moving head
The team used WYSIWYG software in-house to pre-visualize the show and program before making tweaks live on-site at PWC. The show was programmed through a GrandMA 2 Light console, MAnet to DMX node, which was programmed manually, then synced to SMPTE time code.
The total power for the lighting and sound was only 60amps-- about as much as your home stove. Wow!
Our team also provided a stage for announcements, and a truck-mounted video wall for digital signage throughout the event.
