Last week, Frost & Sullivan announced Pexip as the winner of its 2016 award for Technology Innovation. The press release mentions “disruption,” which I read as a shorthand way of saying, “it’s doing what a lot of competitors and standard-bearers aren’t: giving businesses the collaboration benefits they want.”
If you work in IT or you manage those who do, you know the value of being able to do more for the company without stressing staff or compromising network security. IT has been shifting more of its money to cloud services such as Pexip so that people can collaborate with their personal devices from anywhere — whether on the company campus or offsite.
Other benefits include:
- Connect through video conferencing using each user’s preferred method (Microsoft Skype for Business, traditional video conferencing endpoint, WebRTC)
- Easing the burden on IT to manage video collaboration
- Pexip technology powers AVI-SPL’s Unify ME Virtual Meeting Room Service
The last of these points is my main reason for putting together this post: so that if you are a CIO or an IT manager or the head of a department, you are aware that AVI-SPL offers the kind of cloud-based collaboration services that enable your colleagues to work with one another from remote locations, and that can grow with your organization.
I encourage you to look over our Unify ME VMR page, as well as our Virtual Meeting Rooms powered by Cisco and Polycom.
