AVI-SPL Gives Back to Its Local Communities

AVI-SPL held its first-ever AVI-SPL Gives Back Day last week, encouraging all of its 45 offices and 2,300+ employees worldwide to volunteer in the communities where they live and work.

Aiming to make a difference in their localities, AVI-SPL employees volunteered their time in various, heartfelt ways.

In San Diego, California, our team prepared and served meals at a shelter for the homeless. Our Saskatoon, Saskatchewan team joined in activities empowering adults and children with disabilities. The Midland, Michigan, team supported community development for victims of domestic violence. In St. Paul, Minnesota, employee volunteers braved the rain to clean a local highway.

Our Dallas, Texas team helped out at a local animal shelter, cleaning the area and interacting with pets as they wait for their forever home. In the UK, decorated and cleaned a new facility with an organization supporting children battling severe illnesses and their families.

As leaders in its industry with a global presence, AVI-SPL recognizes its responsibility to make a difference and positively impact the world. This year’s AVI-SPL Gives Back Day is the first in what will become an annual event for the company.
