Research Paper Shows Positive Economic Impact of AVI-SPL Collaboration Solutions

AVI-SPL collaboration solutions are having real, significant benefits for its clients. That’s the conclusion of a new paper by Forrester, “The Total Economic Impact™ of AVI-SPL Digital Workspace Solutions.”

The report looks at the impact AVI-SPL has had on four of its largest global accounts. It cites quantified benefits (like lower costs, hours saved), along with unquantified benefits (like employee satisfaction and reduced travel).

By assessing the measurable impact AVI-SPL had on these businesses, Forrester developed a model to calculate the typical anticipated business gains and cost savings for other large, enterprise organizations. Based on its interviews, Forrester found that an organization would see a total cost of ownership savings of $5.5 million over three years, and time savings worth $11.9 million in productivity.

These results are attributed to AVI-SPL’s standardized meeting room designs, consistently proficient global deployment, and consolidated conferencing managed services. Other benefits measured were:

  • Increased conference room utilization
  • Decreased real estate costs
  • Savings on technology refreshes
  • Gains from AVI-SPL’s support services

Glassdoor Names AVI-SPL’s John Zettel a Top CEO

AVI-SPL employees are to thank today as our own John Zettel has been named a Top CEO by Glassdoor, according to the company’s most recent report. Glassdoor®, one of the world’s largest job and recruiting sites, released its annual report highlighting the Top CEOs in several countries throughout North America and Europe.

Zettel appears on the U.S. Large list with an impressive Glassdoor rating, due in part to efforts toward maintaining a family-like employee culture, increase in community activism, and creating avenues for employee questions, suggestions, and comments to be heard, and considered.

In a recent interview with Commercial Integrator, Zettel shared the importance of employees and culture, crediting the people who make up AVI-SPL for the company’s success:

“It does cycle back to our people, because they have to be the ones committed to innovation. And then that innovation is what goes to our ability to just work that extra mile to deliver on customer expectations and exceed customer expectations. I do think when you combine that innovation with the culture and commitment to our customer, that is what sets AVI-SPL apart.”

CEO approval ratings are gathered through Glassdoor’s online company review survey, which gathers current and former employee sentiment about job and company satisfaction, the work environment and the culture. Employees are asked to rate a number of workplace factors like compensation and benefits as well as work-life balance, and asked whether they approve, disapprove or are neutral about the job their CEO is doing. In addition, employees are asked to describe some of the upsides and downsides of working for the company and provide any advice for senior management.
